Job Details
Description & Responsibilities :

SUMMARY: To direct and supervise all activities of food services areas including
Café, Buffet, Espresso Bar, Steakhouse and the Beverage Department. Develop,
implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures. Oversee effective
hiring, training, evaluation, and performance of all food and beverage personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. The Food and Beverage Manager is held accountable entire cycle of the
Food and Beverage operations, ordering, storing, preparing, and final delivery.
2. Ability to manage all financial aspects of food and beverage operation, including
the successful identification of expense reduction through cost efficiencies and
revenue growth.
1. Oversees food and beverage inventories to ensure proper controls are in place.
2. Oversees all service and culinary presentations, activities and quality in all assigned
venues. Observes preparation to ensure quality standards are met. Oversees the
maintenance of all equipment props, supplies, etc.
3. Oversees the overall food and beverage budget by reviewing financial transactions and
monitoring the budget to ensure an efficient operation, and to ensure the expenditures stay
within budget limitations.

Requirements :

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and/or Business Administration is desirable.
2. Candidate must possess a minimum of five years experience in the field of
Food and Beverage at management level.
3. Knowledge of all phases of Food and Beverage administration, cost control
and familiarity with beverage service is required.
4. Advanced computer skills are required.
5. Must have strong customer service skills.
6. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Must possess well-developed leadership skills.
8. Ability to implement and uphold service standards.
9. Ability to work well in stressful situations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be computer- literate.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints
from customers, regulatory agencies and staff. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Effective interpersonal skills required.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in a all units of measure, using whole numbers, common
fractions, and decimals and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to
apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations and deal with several abstract and
concrete variables. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or
schedule form and deals with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to maintain visual attention
and mental concentration needed to perform assigned duties in highly disruptive conditions. Must be detail
orientated and possess organizational skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to talk, hear. The Employee
frequently is required to stand for extended periods in one position. Employee is required to sit/stand
and use hands and finger coordination, handle, or feel objects with continuous wrist, hand, arm and
finger motion and dexterity. The Employee is required to reach with hands and arms.
